Des,

Thank you for your enquiry.

At present there are no masters members at Waitemata Rowing Club.

If you are seeking a group then I suggest West End, St George or Auckland clubs as these all have active Masters groups.

As a 59 year old retiree I am looking to join a rowing club with a view to competing in the world masters competition in four years time.
I would like to know what facilities your club provides and to what extent there are other members working towars competing in that event?
My only rowing experience was in a novice four at a University Easter tournament in 1970.
Thanks.

Accomodation available in Cambridge

We have a new B&B with a double room (with balcony overlooking the river) and with ensuite available during the regattas. All located in one of the best streets in Cambridge.

Alternatively we are able to rent out a whole house during regattas. It has 4 bedrooms, sleeping up to 8, and 2 bathrooms. It is an executive house on one of the best istreets in Cambridge, is on the Karapiro side of Cambridge. The property has decks overlooking the Waikato river.

For further information please contact Yvonne on 07 8274455 or via keeltys@xtra.co.nz. Thanks.
