The BIG 2 Km regatta pre-christmas – over 900 entries and 46 events rowed in fine, hot weather and variable winds.
Our results:
Rebecca had only one event, the WSen 1X. Her race on Saturday left her outside a qualifying spot for the Sunday finals. Good experience for her though.
Emma qualified for a B Final race in the WPrem 1X on Sunday and was placed 5th in a field of eight.
Kylie and Emma had a convincing win in the WClub 2X A Final on Sunday and combined with Laura and Dominique (from Auckland R.C.) in the WClub 4X to also win well in that A Final.

MERCER REGATTA – results December 9, 2007

Our small contingent of 4 rowers (Rebecca, Jessica, Emma and Kylie) enjoyed excellent racing conditions at Mercer on Saturday, 8 December.

Rebecca and Jessica found their opposition was considerably faster in their single and double events.

Kylie and Emma have been to two regattas at Lake Karapiro recently and I have realized that I have not posted their results.

Our crews raced well and recorded good results. For Emma and Kylie their racing form has improved since our regatta in October and they are benefitting from the extra race in the composite (with Auckland) quad.
