Some good progress is being made by the girls to get run times down and gain strength in the gym.

Our current run champion is…taadaa… Jessica!

In the gym Jordyn has whooped me on chin ups …gees i hate them…

But alas Boss Dawg is still 40 min erg Champion yeeaaahhh.

Keep pushing yourselves and chasing your chance to be the best.

Put this one in your Diary today!

Kylie, Emma and friends are planning a tramp in the Waitak’s on Saturday 26th we would like as many of you to join in as possible. Good excuse to eat nuts and chocolates hehehehe – i knew the bush was good for something. Idea being a hard walk to train your legs, might take the place of Saturdays row – pending who attends. So post a comment to say your keen or put it on the board in the club.  Come on it’ll be cool!

Kylie has been on my case to get the Twizel photographs linked to the site. Well here they are.

Some background -

Waitemata (Emma, Sarah & Hayley) and Auckland Grammar (Alex, Nick & Matt) stayed together. We arrived in Twizel on Thursday and trained at Lake Ruataniwha and then at Lake Ohau because a speed boat regatta closed Ruataniwha for nearly three days.

Photographs were taken mainly by Emma, Matt, Nick, Hayley (the arty ones) and a few by Brian.

ENJOY

On the last two Saturdays most of our rowers (& some Mums) picked up poplar prunings at Brian Ayrie’s property.

This great effort raised $1100.

THANK YOU GUYS
